A protected colony of endagnered Amazon woolly monkeys. Visitors can see the monkeys in their own spacious territory which includes 2 mature beech trees. Talks are given throughout the day about the species and its threatened rainforest habitat. All monkeys at the sanctuary have now been born there, some have been returned to their ancestral home. The beautiful gardens provide a home for native wildlife, encouraging environmental awareness closer to home. There is a vegetarian cafe and childrens activity room and play area.
